Anshu Kataria, MD

Description

Dr. Kataria’s grandfather was a role model. The death of his grandfather due to a stroke fueled his mission to become a doctor. While Dr. Kataria already had a deep interest in science and math, he would go on to volunteer at hospitals in his New Jersey hometown during high school and later work as a volunteer emergency medical technician. His formal education included earning two bachelor’s and a master’s degree in addition to his Doctor of Medicine degree specializing in internal medicine. During his residency, Dr. Kataria developed a significant passion for teaching residents and medical students. His grandfather would have been proud. The doctor’s patients find him to be an exceptional listener. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kataria is an accomplished dancer and soccer player.
