Nurses Quincy
When Sara Brown graduated from high school she knew one thing for sure, she wanted a career through which she could help people. Sara was not sure how to do that. She spent 10 years working in different jobs before the answer came to her - nursing. Sara began as a licensed practical nurse, became a registered nurse and today is a Master of Science degree- prepared family nurse practitioner. Patients of the Blessing Health Hannibal Family Practice Department find a compassionate, listening ear when they meet Sara. “I’ve had patients thank me for listening to them, ” she said. “I’ve even had a few in tears, thankful that someone listened to them. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing people appreciate what you are doing to help them.” When not treating patients, you might find Sara and her family camping, boating or fishing. Their favorite destination: Bennett Springs for trout fishing.
