In over 10 years of being a physician, I have had the opportunity to fully value the art of family medicine. The true blessing of being a family physician is the ability to take care of the whole patient, not just the disease. The whole patient experience involves both physical well-being as well as emotional health. My training in family practice allows me to care for patients from a newborn’s first breath to a person’s last words. The relationship I share with my patients and their families is a special bond of caring and friendship. I especially enjoy practicing family medicine in my hometown. I have taken care of families and patients that have been part of my life for two generations. I am thankful to be in Quincy to raise my family in the hometown of which I am so proud.
